Four male residents, all in wheelchairs, go in and out of the building together all the time. One left to go with his family. I overhear the other three talking…
Resident 1: ‘Johnny’ can really wheel himself in his chair. He has great upper body strength.
Resident 2: Yea, to be a midget
Resident 1: That’s cause he was sawed off at the waist…(and laughs)
Resident 3: 👀
Me: 🤔 *But he can still walk, and y’all are super rude and petty*
Meanwhile, another resident is over there stuffing snacks and water behind him in his wheelchair. If he doesn’t stop, they’re going to have to use a hoyer lift.
