Today’s Black History Month Chronicles…
It’s HBCU Day/Night with the Hornets, sponsored by Blue Cross NC. It was a great idea to travel with 4 guys when I learned about this event…Pic 1. Now that the day is here…I have learned/heard way too much from said 4 guys.
They started the day at a HBCU Panel Discussion and College Fair, and I started the day at a Brunch listening to a Panel Discussion from the legends in Pic 2.
Thank you to Cheryl and the team for making sure Blue Cross is present and advocating for HBCUs. Thank you to the guys’ parents for trusting me.
The panelists discussed how everyone can do something to make sure we have justice, equity and inclusion. One of my somethings is exposing young people to the HBCU experience and having real discussions about life. What is your something?
