Final Chronicle Update (maybe)…

•Seperately talked to resident’s nurse and charge nurse about previously discussed situation. As I was approaching them, they both were ðŸ‘€ at me. I asked the charge nurse why she looked at me the same way the nurse did and they weren’t even together? “Because you don’t venture over here much unless there’s an issue.”
Me:🙂

Needless to say, that resident had been in her room showing her a**, which is why she called her pastor instead of her son.

•Employee (who I didn’t know knew who I was): How is Denise’s son?
Me: Who?!? (My momma has some questions to answer if her coworkers know she has a son but she failed to tell me I had a brother
Employee: Your uncle’s son
Me: Oohhhh…I thought you were talking about my momma, but you are talking about my aunt. He’s doing as well as can be expected

Walk to my desk and in comes “Denise’s son”, De’Ron. I immediately took him back for them to see him and they hugged him with cigarettes in their hands and all. My Aunt Denise was a bright light who is missed by so many including her son and mine. Her laugh, her spirit, her corn/squash casseroles, chicken patties, peach cobblers and caramel cakes…I thought I would have more time to learn. She spent her final days in this facility and I promise to keep my eyes on her baby boy.

I’ll talk to y’all tomorrow ðŸ˜¢
