Guy came up and offered to buy me and my friends drinks. I guess we weren’t impressed so he proceeded to tell me he plays for the Chicago Bears. Despite him looking 9 years shy of being eligible for Social Security, I didn’t recognize him; but I haven’t watched the NFL in a while.
Me: I need you to not drink so you can stay healthy and protect HBCU family Tarik Cohen
Him: 👀
Me: 🤔
Him: We don’t play together
Me: What?!? You said you played for the Bears didn’t you?
Him: I gotta go pee pee
I guess he didn’t think I had ANY idea about sports.
Oh, the City of Charlotte was PROUD to stand with the $1.5 million check they are giving to the 13 CIAA schools. Much like “Pee Pee” man, they expected us to be impressed, but the math isn’t and hasn’t been right for the past 10+ years.
