Michai: We did this “First World Problems” exercise in class this week. I didn’t have a high school diploma but I ended up with more money than those with a college degree
Me: How? What did you do?
Him: I don’t know. It may have been because I was married and our child was in preschool instead of daycare.
Me: Did you have a job?
Him: I made $20k a year as a bagger in a grocery store.
Me: Oh
Him: I said all that to say…can I drop out of school?
Me: Boy, if you don’t…you’re about to make me cuss. Where are you going to live? Why am I even entertaining this?
