Today’s Life Chronicles…
I’ve wanted to work in healthcare since I was in the 3rd grade and learned police officers didn’t make a lot of money and I would have to do too much reading to be a lawyer. Prior to the outbreak, I signed up to work at the facility 3 days this week. On one hand I’m grateful, because a large pizza only lasts a few hours these days and that’s only if I say, “You can eat it all.” If I tell him not to, he waits until I go to sleep to eat the other 4 slices he didn’t eat in the first sitting. (Speaking of food, of all times, I loaded his MySchoolBucks account. Imma need that back until school is back in session.) On the other hand, there is a strict no visitor policy in place, so I expect the phones to be nuts with hard of hearing callers who want to speak to hard of hearing residents, and employees not answering, but I’m not allowed to walk the halls. Yea, there will probably be Work Chronicles…
Before I go to the facility, I’m donating blood at my main job because you know, there are still a lot of other sick people in need of it.
Teachers: I know we will be figuring out this Google classroom stuff together, but my son needs structure, so is there any way for there to be some sort of schedule so I don’t have to turn into Shannon and risk losing BOTH jobs?
