Today’s Work Chronicles…

I don’t know why family members like to force Frosties on me to show their appreciation. I think I need to stand up so they can see me from the waist down to understand why a Frosty is the last thing I need.

I experienced Jimmy John’s “freaky fast delivery” (thanks Ma) for the first time and it was too fast. I’m concerned.

A resident saw my nails and reminded me to “always keep yourself up.”

I had to help another resident call his son from a smart phone he just got yesterday while wrapped in a blanket watching basketball. He got mad when I turned the TV down, but he’s hard of hearing so I don’t know how he thought he was going to be able to hear his son if the TV volume was set for outside.

I learned way more about illegal activity happening in Winston than I wanted from a resident who was also mistaken as my boyfriend.

Speaking of boyfriends, I’m trying to understand how residents get mates (loyal ones) after they are admitted to long term care but I’m still single. 🤔

Pray for me as I pack Michai up to go to DC WITHOUT me. Them not allowing parent charperones is the ONLY reason I’m not going. His dad laughed cause I told him I verified they were going to the NMAAHC before I let him pay (he thinks I’m crazy lol).

Y’all have a good week 🤗
