Today’s HBCU Chronicles…
With the help of MY Chancellor, Dr. Harold Martin, we ventured over to the school in Greensboro. I am INCREDIBLY impressed. The organization of the tour, the student friendliness, the ambassador’s ability to articulate the pros and cons as an incoming freshman…the fact the ambassador had a microphone, all wowed us (it’s the little things). They made it clear the amount of work required in and out of the classroom and Michai said he’s willing to put the work in. 😳👀
The buildings that have recently opened are amazing, and I know they are due in part to Alumni support.
We have work to do WSSU…A LOT OF WORK…IN A LOT OF AREAS. It won’t happen without change; change from our pockets and change in administration (debate your momma, not me). Please know, no matter how many times I was encouraged, I did not chant anything about their pride. Oh, and we saw some familiar faces 🙂 #HBCUGrad #StillARam #HBCUsMatter
