Today’s (A Whole Lot Of Stuff) Chronicles…

Attended the AHA Go Red Luncheon. While it was quick, it was very informative! Nurse Valda sprinkled so much intentional and unapologetic Black Momma Magic in that room. She talked about there being 365 days in a year, 1,440 minutes in a day and 23,040 breaths taken in a day, but we should focus on the things that take our breath away. Pictured is my commitment to living better. SN: I may be slightly addicted to the competition of a silent auction 🤔

Also pictured are my colleagues along with Nurse Valda and Tracey McCain. While we wore red for the event, my red also represents the solidarity I share with teachers in NC. The bakery stands with teachers too, so teachers and first responders can enjoy a 10% discount on every visit.

While at the event, the ED was so proud to announce the $100k award given to THEE Winston-Salem State University to address food insecurity!!!

Speaking of WSSU…only at a HBCU do you celebrate a CHAMPIONSHIP with a choreographed dance. I wore my red and black for y’all too! 😉
