Today’s Work Chronicles…
To all those who supported the Dewey’s Store during the Christmas Holidays, this is evidence of your fundraising dollars at work! The PTA of the WSSU NC-MSEN program provided transportation, up to a third of the registration cost for scholars whose parents volunteered at the store and half the cost of dinner for 40 scholars in grades 6-11 to attend the Leadercast Conference in Atlanta Friday. We spent Saturday at Six Flags where we received a behind the scenes tour of the rides (STEM related learning). We returned early this morning and, while I’m physically at work, my mind is telling me I have aged out of traveling with children and Michai will be traveling alone going forward.
As you can tell by the second picture, they all have different personalities, all of which drained me of my energy!
Thank you again for your support, pray for me to get through these hours today and I hope to see you at Black Business Magazine, Inc’s State of Black NC Conference this week (I hope to have recovered by then š).
