Picked Michai up Friday where he discussed his English EOC. Said it was hard for him to stay awake while reading the passages. He also said poetry had the most difficult questions.
Him: The poem can say, the bird flew over the mountain. The question will ask, “What does the bird represent and why did it fly over the mountain?” How should I know???

As much as I wanted to give him a parental answer, I couldn’t because English questions made no sense to me either; mainly because the passages made no sense.
