Today’s Racial Equity Chronicles…
I find it interesting how so many want me to turn my Chronicles into a blog and when I respond with, “No one wants to read what I have to say…” they’ll respond with, “I do.”
These Racial Equity Chronicles prove me right. If I talked about what I REALLY wanted to talk about, no one would be as engaged.
Understanding the definition of racism to be systematic versus ideological would force people to stop believing that Black people can be racists. Understanding the definition would force laws to be changed and it would help cool the heat off the recent, highly publicized “race included” murder which was not deemed a hate crime based on its definition.
My black and white followers, even Michai, would be bored and upset if I called every racist thing for what it was. Just as upset as I am for having to consistently code switch as to not be marked as an angry black woman.
Racists never left, but they are currently full of pride and empowerment…live accordingly.
I’ll be back with happier Chronicles one day
