Today’s Adventure/Football Chronicles…
Michai had an 8a appointment and I had a 930a appointment to get my car serviced. Times are important because we were out late at the game last night and neither of us are morning people. We were sitting in the waiting area and the couple in Pics 1 and 2 decided to sit in our section and eat Pringles for breakfast. I despise hearing people loudly crunch/chew and not only did she CHOMP, see Pic 2 where she passed chips to him to chomp too. Video 1 allows you to hear her and you will see at the end of the video how my face must have encouraged her to take a break.
Wash, Rinse, Repeat…
See Pics 3, 4 and 5 to find the exact same outfits we wore to last night’s Mt. Tabor game, where we fought the cold (the cold won) to see them win another conference championship. I didn’t want to go at first, but realized Michai will be heading off in a couple years so I better enjoy this time with him. It’s enough he looks at me like Pic 4 all the time because he never knows what I’m talking about.
Last night…Stop trying to fire the coaches when they don’t call the play you call from the stands. One parent said she was rescheduling her girl’s trip to next Friday instead of Saturday because she “doesn’t want to watch this crap anymore.” See Pic 6 for the look on my face before I abruptly got up and left their section.
Today…It was Senior Day at Bowman Gray. Since Alums want to fire the head coach (seemingly the go-to thing when things don’t go well) and wanted the Interim AD fired, what solutions are being offered to recruit and replace the seniors we’re losing? I don’t see anyone calling for Elwood (or his hats/shoes) to be replaced since he is responsible for making said decisions (or lack thereof).
Speaking of which…He got missing after half-time. 🤔
Anywho…until next week Mt. Tabor and next season WSSU Football.
