Today’s Parenting Chronicles…
Up until 8th grade, my mother used to keep Michai every Wednesday offering me mid-week respite. My weekly respite now comes from 30 minutes of Meditation at the Y. Listen, I know the Y is a Christian organization, but pairing meditation with a little wine won’t hurt.
Ok, I’m back. Michai is a full blown Leo and I just don’t know how that will work in this world, but he assures me he has it under control. I’ve put my meditation practices to work and have been quiet with him this week to refrain from yelling or talking through my “teef.” The Lord knows what you need and when you need it because seeing this on my timeline (I forgot about it because it was due a while ago) helped me loosen my jawline and release some of the tension out of my shoulders. But that doesn’t mean y’all can stop praying…ON YOUR KNEES.
