Today’s Work Chronicles…
Come to you on my weekend off because my Administrative Assistant, aka my mother, arranged for me to work today so I can have Saturday off since those Mt. Tabor Spartans will be traveling to Asheville Friday. I just thawed out and will be going into another level of cold this Friday with no concession stand to hide in.
Between residents being disappointed seeing me instead of the lady who normally works and it being a full moon weekend…an interesting day it has been. Family member stopped to say…
I’m not trying to be funny.
Me (in my head): This usually never goes well
Her (nervous): Is that your hair?
Me: It is
Her: Ok, well who cut it because I want mine cut and everybody don’t know how to cut hair to make it look nice instead of bald you know?
Residents have been going in the dining room with the grand idea to pour soup in cups, but are spilling as much as they pour. Not to mention the liability of them pouring hot soup.
A lady who supports the office complains about not having enough time to get things done, but each time I see her she’s in the hall carrying extended conversations. 🤔
Super Soul Sunday served as church and appropriately brought a close to the Thanksgiving Holiday; which I hosted for the first time. Now, before you get excited, food was not included which probably explains why I’m single 🤷🏾♀️. Back to SSS, I’ll close by sharing a few points that Blessed me..
