Today’s Work Chronicles…
Y’all…I literally just bought these Earbobz in honor of the lady who told me I had to die because I didn’t understand why she wanted black inventors only to be honored in February. Well, the lady came and I asked her if she was better (petty, I know, but blame the ear infection). She said she doesn’t talk about the past so she didn’t know what I was talking about. I said “Black Inventors.”
She went off. I gave her my Bobz. She said she is Black, White and “Indian” every day but “it should be a documentary shown in February, the month we celebrate. And I understand what you’re saying but you pissed me off with what you said.”
Me: I didn’t say anything, I just didn’t get upset and you told me I had to die because of it.
Her: I said that? Well, I probably did but don’t pay me no mind. Thank you for my earrings though
Me to myself: Why are you arguing with someone who wrote 12/29/19 for the date?!?
