Weekend Chronicles…*Graduation Edition*
I’ve been up since 4am because I was super excited to capture this moment!!! My sister has been talking about obtaining a degree for years. She would start, get distracted, stop and start again. Her husband retired from the Army and decided to finish his degree so she opted to join him. It was crazy listening to them discuss their coursework; him in the classroom and her online. Well, they made it…and they did it TOGETHER! I was so proud to witness this and share it with our mother, his family (who is so loving) and our family (who is nuts as seen in the pic and some are missing). I violated all rules to capture the last pic which may explain why it ended up blurry.
I always joke about how they’ve earned great salaries without degrees but it’s nothing like seeing dreams come true and prayers answered. #GreatIsThyFaithfulness #ProudSister #SheDidntDoANYTHINGsheSaidSheWasGoingToDoOnstage
